Daisylets were please to sponsor the Southwark and Lambeth’s NCT Xmas Craft Fair in Nov 2007.
This was the first event we ever sponsored and was close to our hearts back then, having two very small children at the time!
Many of our colourful signs were seen out and about around Dulwich Village and East Dulwich advertising the NCT’s Xmas Craft Fair, much fun was had by everyone during the day, many a cake eaten and craft bought by the residents of Dulwich – and more importantly lots of money raised for the local NCT.
The National Childbirth Trust helps parents – and expecting parents – adjust to life with babies and does fabulous work locally, running coffee mornings, second hand sales, information evenings & tea groups for new mums to name a few. Everyone who helps out with their local NCT does so on a voluntary basis and doesn’t get enough praise for the work they do! (Claire used to run the tea groups for mums with two or more children back then for the branch, and knows how rewarding it is to be able to put mums together to share their experiences and maternity leave with understanding friends around them).
Our Alice in the office also runs Bumps and Babes coffee morning at St Faiths on Red Post Hill on a Friday morning from 9.30am.
